Wow. What a crazy weekend! First of all, I have to say how proud I am of all the kids, supporters, parents, and families at the show this weekend. I was approached SEVERAL times about how great our barn was...between supportive spectators, to brave kids, to how well we treated out horses.
Lydia showed in her first big show in the poles class on Oliver. She was AWESOME! Lydia and I only had one lesson beforehand to clean up her diagonals and to practice poles and she nailed it. Oliver, of course, was a superstar as well.
Catie had a fall on Saturday but came back to ride on Sunday. We were so proud of her that she wanted to come back and jump on Sunday! She schooled Oliver fantastically in the morning, had a beautiful flat class and jumped him well in her next classes.
Makayla rode in her first poles classes and, even after a spill, came back to win a fourth place in her other class on Gump. Nice job!
Ashton rode a lovely crossrail division, was VERY competitive in the Baby's and won her first blue in her Equitation class.
Malia did great in her VERY big leadline class! She won a very cute trophy :)
Kaitlin rode Oliver in the Maiden Adult u/s and took home a second place in a VERY tough class.
We brought home ribbons of every color this weekend and we couldn't be happier with our clients. We HAVE the best group of clients.
